Back in the day, when Napster and other file sharing software was around for the benfeits of sharing MP3 files, often the files would download onto your computer without the full name of the artist and track in the filename. Fortunately, some people who shared these files would update the ID3 tag inside the MP3 File.
This software would install into your Context Menu (Right Click menu) in explorer. You could then right click and rename your MP3 file to the Artist and Track data located in the ID3 file.
I was chuffed at the time, as I had thousands of badly name MP3 files and this thing in a few seconds managed to organise about 80% of it.
These days, MP3 Files are almost as obsolete as CD's, Tapes, as we now stream our music. Luckily, Vinyl isn't dead yet.
